【摘要】:TheX-,gamma-raydetectordiscussedinthispracticeisastoragephosphorimagingplate,hereafterreferredtoasSPIP.TheSPIP,whichisthekeycomponentintheCRprocess,differentiatesCRfromotherradiologicmethods.Thispracticeiswrittensothatitcanbespecifiedontheengineeringdrawing,specification,orcontractandmustbesupplementedbyadetailedprocedure(seeSection6andAnnexA1andAnnexA2).1.1Thispracticecoversapplicationdetailsforcomputedradiology(CR)examinationusingaprocessinwhichphotostimulableluminescenceisemittedbythepenetratingradiationdetector,astoragephosphorimagingplate(SPIP).BecausethetechniquesinvolvedandtheapplicationsforCRexaminationarediverse,thispracticeisnotintendedtobelimitingorrestrictive,butrathertoaddressthegeneralapplicationsofthetechnologyandtherebyfacilitateitsuse.RefertoGuidesE94andE2007,TerminologyE1316,andPracticesE747andE1025,and21CFR1020.40and29CFR1910.96foradditionalinformationandguidance.1.2ThegeneralprinciplesdiscussedinthispracticeapplybroadlytopenetratingradiationCRsystems.However,thisdocumentiswrittenspecificallyforusewithX-rayandgamma-raysystems.OtherCRsystems,suchasthoseemployingneutrons,willinvolveequipmentandapplicationdetailsuniquetosuchsystems.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificsafetystatements,seeSectionand21CFR1020.40and29CFR1910.96.1.3PurposeThisannexistobeusedinconjunctionwithPracticeE2033.Itpermitstheuseof,andgivesguidanceon,theimplementationofCRexaminationformaterials,components,andassemblies,whenspecifiedinthecontractdocuments.TherequirementsdescribedhereinallowtheuseofCRfornewapplicationsaswellastoreplaceradiologywheninspectioncoverage,greaterthroughput,orimprovedinspectioneconomicscanbeobtained,providedasatisfactorylevelofimagequalitycanbedemonstrated.1.4ApplicationThisannexprovidesguidelinesforawrittenprocedureasrequiredinofPracticeE2033.ShouldtherequirementsinthisannexconflictwithanyotherrequirementsofPracticeE2033,thenthisannextakesprecedence.Therequirementsofthisannexareintendedtocontrolthequalityoftheexaminationandnottospecifytheaccept/rejectcriteria.Accept/rejectcriteriaareprovidedinothercontractdocuments.1.5PurposeThisannexistobeusedinconjunctionwithPracticeE2033.Thisannexincludesapplication-specificdetailsasmaybeagreeduponbythepurchaserandthesupplierofCRexaminationservices.1.6ApplicationThisannexsatisfiestherequirementsofofPracticeE2033.ShouldthisannexconflictwithanyotherrequirementsofPracticeE2033,thisannexshallprevail.Therequirementsofthisannexareintendedtocontrolthequalityoftheexaminationandnottospecifytheaccept/rejectcriteriaforthepart.Accept/rejectcriteriaareprovidedinothercontractdocuments.
