【摘要】:Thistestmethodwasdevelopedtoevaluatethewearperformanceofengineoilsinturbochargedandintercooledfour-cycledieselenginesequippedwithEGRandrunningonultra-lowsulfurdieselfuel.Obtainresultsfromusedoilanalysisandcomponentmeasurementsbeforeandaftertest.Thetestmethodmaybeusedforengineoilspecificationacceptancewhenalldetailsoftheprocedurearefollowed.1.1Thistestmethodcoversanenginetestprocedureforevaluatingdieselengineoilsforperformancecharacteristics,includingleadcorrosionandwearofpistonringsandcylinderlinersinanengineequippedwithexhaustgasrecirculationandrunningonultra-lowsulfurdieselfuel.ThistestmethodiscommonlyreferredtoastheMackT-12.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.2.1Exception8212;WherethereisnodirectSIequivalent,suchastheunitsforscrewthreads,NationalPipeThreads/diameters,tubingsize,andsinglesourcesupplyequipmentspecifications.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SeeAnnexA6forspecificsafetyprecautions.
